 The female roe deer passed by early evening.  

Hier soir la chevreuil était de retour

 The male came by later on.

 She must have slept nearby.

 The pine marten didn't hang around.

 the woods are looking green.

 A small hunting dog, apparently good at tracking wild boar.  

Ce petit chien est apparement un bon pisteur de sanglier

 Last night it was the hare that hung around for a long time.

 The pine marten was messing about as usual.

 I found a blue egg in one of the bowls its a bit of a mystery.

 The woodpecker has been doing some interesting work.
